Purging my books is the hardest thing for me to do.
I can’t explain why, but there’s a strong emotional attachment I feel for these items. Adventures taken, love lost and won, friendship struggles and magic tamed.
But truthfully, I am happy once the box is out and gone, on to a new life with new friends. I find myself happy again that I can share books with strangers/friends/readers and know that they will take good care of them too.
I find myself with a pretty heavy box of Adult Fiction books looking for a home.

Some of the books I read I give to my sister, some to my sister-in-law, and I donate the rest.

If they’re not ones I want to keep, then I give them to friends/family or donate them.
I have to give more to my family.

A little bit of everything, give away to people who would love them, donate here and there, in the past I’ve sold them to parents on facebook for their kiddos or sold to a used bookstore for a small amount of credit to buy books there 😀

Any favorites that I love, I keep as part of my book collection but i will let others borrow. other books, I either pass it down to other friends or donate them to the library or used book store. Thank you for the chance!
