Happy Saturday! Wow. What a loooong week. I’m so happy the weekend is here and I can maybe hide away for a bit and read all day.
Today’s topic is:
Reading Monogamy- do you read more than one book at a time?
The answer is:
Yes, I do! But usually not more than 3, and they all have to be different. For instance, I can’t read 3 historical romances. It would just get too confusing for me. I usually have a graphic novel I’m reading, an audio book, and a physical book. Sometimes I’ll read more than one physical book (like one fiction and one non-fiction) but I try to keep it lean. I can only really focus on one storyline at a time, or I find myself drifting from the story and characters and not really caring about them.
Today, I’m listening to: (Adult Fiction)
Today I’m reading: YA Contemporary Fiction
I’ve been reading this for a while- it’s when I want to only read a Chapter or Two. (Adult Non Fiction) Fascinating. Recommend.
I’m enjoying this series a lot! I dip into it and read a bit whenever I’m in between Fiction books: (Graphic Novel)
As you can see, I can read more than one thing, but they have to truly be different. And usually I only seriously read one book and casually read the rest.
Do you read more than one book at the same time?
Ooh I totally thought you were going to say that you were a monogamous reader. Glad to know I am not the only one.
I used to be able to read two books at a time when I was younger, but that was before I had to get a job and start high school. I am now in college and it’s hard for me to find time for even one book, let alone two. I wish I still had the ability to read two books at a time, though. 🙂
