wdtbwsbuttonfinal3Happy Saturday Friends!

We are pleased to introduce Caroline from The Attic!

Thanks for stopping by Caroline! Now onto the tough questions!

Name: Caroline

Code Name/Alias: I’m not cool enough to have one. 🙂

Haunt:  The Attic

I read mostly: Young Adult. Mainly paranormal, sci-fi, dystopia, and retellings.

Literary Boyfriend: Sam Roth from Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater.

Literary Best friend: Jessie from Into the Wild Nerd Yonder by Julie Halpern.

Literary Arch Nemesis: Peter from Divergent by Veronica Roth. He just makes me SO. ANGRY.

Besides reading, what are some other favorite hobbies?
I love reading graphic novels and marathoning TV shows and movies. I am super nerdy so my obsessions tend to exist in the realm of geekery (Batman is my current obsession). I love playing video games (Skyrim is my most favorite) and I am a huge music snob, so I have something playing almost 24/7. Other than that, I spend a lot of time with my dogs, exploring the outdoors and taking photographs.

How do you take your potato?
Sweet.

Kiss, Date, Marry: Heathcliff, Mr. Rochester, Mr. Darcy? and Why?
I’d kiss Heathcliff, date Rochester, and marry Darcy. Heathcliff seems a bit unstable so I don’t really want to get into a relationship with him. And while Rochester is quite dreamy, Darcy wins. Always. (Now that I think about it, can I just answer Darcy for all three?)

You are fleeing from your arch nemesis. Which mode of transportation do you take?
a) Broomstick
b) Pegasus
c) Spaceship
d) Nothing. I shall wave my hand and turn them into toads!
I’ll take a broomstick. I’ve always loved witches and magic so I’m kind of drawn to it to begin with. I’m also going to assume that since I have a broomstick, I also have magic so I can turn them into toads if it’s necessary.

Team Edward or Team Jacob? (be honest)
I was a pretty hardcore member of Team Edward during my Twilight obsession.

I organize my bookshelf by:
a) color
b) size
c) genre
d) what bookshelf? I am a digital only reader
I actually organize my books by author, but I have had it organized by genre in the past. I change it up quite often, to be honest.

You are stranded on a desert island. Dr. Moreau, Dr. Jekyll and Dr. Frankenstein each stand in a boat which will get you to safety. Who do you choose to travel with?
Dr. Frankenstein. Out of the three, I think he’s the most normal. Well, maybe normal isn’t the right term… He just doesn’t freak me out as much as the other two!

I hide books:
a) in my closet
b) in my car
c) under my bed
d) from my husband
e) in the kitchen
f) all of the above
In my closet. And in my nightstand. And under my bookcase…

You may be granted an interview with your favorite author- living or dead. Who do you pick to have tea with?
This is such a difficult question to answer! I’ll have to go with my favorite YA author, which is Maggie Stiefvater. We could discuss her menagerie of goats and where she gets her story ideas. Maybe she could also give me a drawing lesson or two.

Thank you for stopping by Caroline!
