Bout of Books challenge
The last two days have been super crazy on the work front so I haven’t been home or had any time to really read. (which may explain why Wed and Thurs are incomplete)
But it’s Friday and close to the weekend!
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 12th and runs through Sunday, May 18th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. Challange: My Overstuffed Shelves
Hmmm, this is a pretty cool challenge. I read Untold and Unspoken, set in a small English town where magic lives. The town is so quaint and small, with a large house looming on the hill, it made me think of fairy tales and other children’s stories and haunted houses. Which makes me think of houses that look like this-
The book in the house is not haunted, though it is inhabited by sorcerers. But it does make me think of large, houses, that have their own personality.
Which makes me think of the Winchester Mystery House. I haven’t been there yet, but I want to go! That might have been a really long train of thought, but you get it, right?
