I love the New Year and it’s not for the parties, drinks or streamers. No. The reason I love New Years is for the hope. The opportunity that although the past year may not have been wonderful, this coming year may be better. It’s filled with resolutions, goals and promises of improving oneself.
That said, one thing I would love to improve is my crazy book collection and my ARC guilt. I have a lot of older ARCs laying around that I would love to get through.
So Thuy at Nite Lite Book Reviews, Nicole at The Reader’s Antidote and I are hosting a challenge.
Sign ups are below. Feel free to join us! We could all use a little motivation.
Better Late Than Never Challenge!
Begins October 1, 2013 and ends December 31, 2013
Here are the rules:
Read as many older review books as you can, making way for the new year and new books!
Books may be physical ARCs or digital ARCs.
For book to qualify, release date must be at older than 6 months (release date earlier than May 1, 2013)
Please do a wrap up post at the end of each month so we can check your progress.
And if you are participating, there will most likely be a chance to win a prize at the end so keep a look out!
And here are some awesome buttons made for the challenge! Thanks to Nicole, Thuy and Alethea!
Link up below and good luck!
Good luck Kimberly! I’m hoping I’ll still have enough time to get a good amount read for this challenge because I’m working on my book more too 😛
Totally! Get to work! 😉 Glad you’re working on it. I am going to be focusing on reading until end of October because my in laws are coming and I’m afraid of what they will think of me (though they are polite and will never say aloud) of my book collection! So trying to move those out! Hope to see you soon!
