Hi Everyone! It’s with great please I introduce Kristen to you! Kristen is all the way from The Book Monsters and is in the hot seat this week!
Take it away Kristen!
Code Name/Alias: Bookgoil
Haunt: The Book Monsters ( www.thebookmonsters.com)
I read mostly: Fantasy and Sci-Fi at the middle grade or young adult level
Literary Boyfriend: George Connor from the Alanna Quartet by Tamora Pierce
Literary Best friend: Jacky Faber from L.A. Meyer’s Bloody Jack series
Literary Arch Nemesis: Clarissa Worthington Howe from the Bloody Jack series
Besides reading, what are some other favorite hobbies? Playing the piano, listening to and discovering new music, and going to see action movies, especially of the comic book variety.
How do you take your potato? Every way, I love all things potato.
Kiss, Date, Marry: Heathcliff, Mr. Rochester, Mr. Darcy? and Why?
Kiss – Heathcliff – he’s the craziest of the bunch.
Date: Mr. Darcy because he’s fun to play with.
Marry: Mr. Rochester, possibly because it’s the favorite of my three books and even though he has a hidden crazy wife.. I still love him.
You are fleeing from your arch nemesis. Which mode of transportation do you take?
a) Broomstick
b) Pegasus
c) Spaceship
d) Nothing. I shall wave my hand and turn them into toads!
Team Edward or Team Jacob? (be honest) Jacob has so much more to offer…
I organize my bookshelf by:
a) color
b) size
c) genre
d) what bookshelf? I am a digital only reader
You are stranded on a desert island. Dr. Moreau, Dr. Jekyll and Dr. Frankenstein each stand in a boat which will get you to safety. Who do you choose to travel with?
Frankenstein.. he seems the safest choice as he just likes to create monsters. And we’re in a boat.. not in his lab.
I hide books:
a) in my closet
b) in my car
c) under my bed
d) from my husband (he swears he knows when I buy them but hah!)
e) in the kitchen
f) all of the above
You may be granted an interview with your favorite author- living or dead. Who do you pick to have tea with?
Charles DeLint, I love his books and his world and would love to meet the man and pick his brain.
Thanks for stopping by Kristen!

Aww, <3 Kristen! Bloody Jack all the way, though I love Clarissa Worthington Howe just a little bit less than I love Jacky. I'm so with you on the Rochester (particularly the Toby Stephens variety). And now I'm gonna go eat a potato in your honor. *salutes*
Svaha by Charles deLint is one of my faves! Heck yes Pegasus! I wonder if your rump would still be as sore?! I used to have my purchased books sent to my work so the hubs wouldn’t know how many i bought lol.
Thanks for having me, this was a lot of fun!
Thanks for stopping by! Love your answers!
Nice interview. I guess one of the nice things about being single is that I have no one to hid books from but myself.
