How are you? How is your October?
So you may know that Hubby and I went to Paris this month for our anniversary! Yay!
I’ve always wanted to go and I’ll be honest-
It totally lived up to the expectations!
We toured around Paris and the last couple of days were joined by my lovely sister in law Fiona and her boyfriend Jamie. It was all lots of fun.
Here are some pictures in case you want to get into the Paris spirit- and see where I was reading last week!
Of course I found French bookstores!
Here is the first one I went into and I bought a little something 🙂
Notre Dame
Musee d’Orsay- I’m reading Belle Epoque by Elizabeth Ross and Loving It!
Musee Louvre
Went to Angelina, at the Louvre. Enjoying hot chocolate the old fashioned way- a thick, drinkable chocolate with heavy cream.Â
Best. Thing. Ever.
Hubby went for a run because he is training for (another!) marathon. No problem with me!
Reading in an outdoor cafe with a glass of wine, watching the rain fall.Â
Enjoyed Pere Lachaise Cemetary where I visited Oscar Wilde, Edith Pilaf, Chopin, Bizet, Marcel Proust and Jim MorrisonÂ
The second picture is of Oscar Wilde’s grave
Found a beautiful little fabric store in the Marais district. I am not a very good sewer but I love fabric and had to go in!
Visited Shakespeare & Co.
I wasn’t allowed to take pictures inside, but let me tell you it is a beautiful bookshop with all English books.
Lovely
Arc de Triomphe
 Thanks for stopping by!
Where have you been reading? 🙂
I am so envious! It looks like you had lots of fun!
Thanks for stopping by Pamela! I did have a lot of fun! I can’t wait to go back someday!! 😉
This looks like so much fun. Totally jealous! MMMM Angeline chocolate!
Thanks for stopping by Fishgirl!
