BoB10-200x200Welcome!

This is my first Bout of Books challenge so I’m super excited to be doing this!

What is Bout of Books you ask?

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 12th and runs through Sunday, May 18th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 10 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog.

I’m super ready for this. Now, I may be traveling for work (in which case- Score! Time on the plane to read!) or I may be just home in my normal routine. Either way, I’m very excited to participate and get through some series reading!

I’m not sure how much I’ll be reading, and this is my first one. So I’ll set some pretty realistic goals.

Wish me luck and sign up with me! You know you want to!

Challange: My Overstuffed Shelves

Hmmm, this is a pretty cool challenge. I read Untold and Unspoken, set in a small English town where magic lives. The town is so quaint and small, with a large house looming on the hill, it made me think of fairy tales and other children’s stories and haunted houses. Which makes me think of houses that look like this-

House on the Hill

The book in the house is not haunted, though it is inhabited by sorcerers. But it does make me think of large, houses, that have their own personality.

Which makes me think of the Winchester Mystery House. I haven’t been there yet, but I want to go! That might have been a really long train of thought, but you get it, right?
