Review:

Whew. (fans herself)

Frankie is a cab driver from a blue collar family in Queens. She wanders into a room, not unintentionally, and finds a man there who “mistakens” her for his next… well. Eh-hem.

This is my first Tessa Bailey book and it won’t be the last. Fun and hot, the story follows a strong willed woman who focuses on being the master and decider of her own destiny. She doesn’t want to owe anyone anything. She has no debts. Enter in Porter, a man who never had someone believe in him. He’s hard to love, harsh and typical Alpha male. Did I mention he’s English?

Easy to read, flirty and steamy, Driven by Fate is a really fun read that I’m excited to recommend to my girlfriends who love a good love/smut story. It’s really erotica but with a decent storyline and character development so it feels like you’re reading for the characters (as well as the hot steamy scenes.) It’s the fifth book in the series, but don’t let that stop you. I didn’t have any problems following along and I’m even intrigued in reading a couple of the past books in the series.

Porter doesn’t want to let Frankie go so he makes a proposition. She needs money to pay back a debt and so she should work for him instead of driving the cab. He will pay her more so she can pay down her debt fast enough and well… you get the idea.

Graphic scenes and language, it may not be for everyone. But if you’re even slightly interested, try it. I know a bunch of my girlfriends who will enjoy this fun and sexy book.
