Review:
Where do I begin?
Kate Grable learns her coach has started giving the football team “steroids”, which is making them into flesh each zombies. And only Kate can stop them!

I love the cover of the book. I think it was actually my first Shelf Candy and I still think it’s stunning. It’s why I picked up the book in the first place. That and the blurbs on the back, saying it was a very funny read. And it was. But it wasn’t what I expected.

Coming in at around 200 pages, Bad Taste In Boys is funny and light. The action is fast, and it’s more of a plot driven book. There’s a lot of funny lines and some pop culture references, but not in an overwhelming and annoying way.

It took me a while to get into the book, and because it’s so short, I was sorta considering putting it down around page 50. There are a lot of plot holes, a lot of things that don’t make a lot of sense, and not a lot of character development.
Now, wait a minute, I know what you’re thinking. Why do I like it then? Because it’s funny.

Once I was invested, I definitely chuckled out loud. There is a lot of fun tongue in cheek humor. And while the whole situation is very unbelievable, give it a chance. Suspend reality. Just go with it. It’s a funny read you’ll enjoy.

Rating 6 Good, but wouldn’t own a copy
