wdtbwsbuttonfinal3Hello friends! Welcome to a Special Edition of What Does the Bookworm Say? My friends Thuy from Nite Lite Book Reviews, Nicole from The Reader’s Antidote, and Crystal from Elegantly Bound Book Reviews have gotten together to discuss some fun questions on every reader’s mind. But this is a special edition because I’ll be interviewing  a fellow bookworm today!

Today, I’m interviewing bookworm partner in crime, Thuy from Nite Lite Book Reviews.

And I have some very interesting and probing questions for her! Don’t miss it!

IMG_9585Name: Thuy (twee)

Code Name/Alias: fishgirl182, Tweedle, Cujo, Chop, Prickly Pear, Thug…

Haunt: Nite Lite Book Reviews (http://www.nitelitebookreviews.com)

I read mostly: My reading habits are really all over the place. I read from many genres including YA, romance, urban fantasy, sci-fi, comics and picture books. If I had to choose I might say romance or urban fantasy.

Literary Boyfriend: So  many but right now, I’d say Adrian Ivashkov (Bloodlines) and Curran (Kate Daniels).

Literary Best friend: Rose Hathaway (Vampire Academy)

Literary Arch Nemesis: Does bad grammar count? I guess I’d have to say Sauron from The Lord of the Rings. He’s as evil as they come.

Besides reading, what are some other favorite hobbies? I like to make things. I do a bit of sewing and drawing but my main crafty hobby is knitting. Seriously, I love it and have to divide my time between wanting to knit and wanting to read. Sometimes I read on my e-reader while knitting, but I find it’s hard to concentrate on the book that way. More often than not, I’ll knit while watching a movie on Netflix. I love going to the movies and will watch almost anything but have a particular fondness for action and sci-fi movies. I also have a mild nail polish addiction. You can see some of my nail art on my Manicure Monday (http://www.nitelitebookreviews.com/search/label/manicure%20mondayposts.

Who are you? Hobbit, Elf or Dwarf?
With my love of the home, good food and naps, I’d have to say Hobbit though some days my grumpiness makes me more of a Dwarf.

How do you take your potato?
Any way I can get it! Though I have to say that I have a fondness for french fries – thin and crisp on the outside with just the right amount of salt. Ketchup is a must.

You are fleeing from your arch nemesis. Which mode of transportation do you take?
a) Broomstick
b) Pegasus
c) Spaceship
d) Nothing. I shall wave my hand and turn them into toads!

Team Edward or Team Jacob? (be honest)
Even though Edward’s kind of a wishy-washy stalker, I will take him over Jacob any day. Sorry, Jacob’s brand of goody-goody puppy dog pal just doesn’t do it for me.

I organize my bookshelf by:
a) color
b) size
c) genre – The shelves are jammed full of books and most of them are in order by genre. However, I have other stacks of books hidden throughout my apt that are not really organized at all. I need more shelves.
d) what bookshelf? I am a digital only reader

Harry Potter has come over and needs your help. What do you do?
Get my wand and hop on my broomstick!

You may be granted an interview with your favorite author- living or dead. Who do you pick to have tea with?
Geez that’s a really tough one. I guess I’d say Nalini Singh. She’s really fun and has an awesome New Zealand accent. I’d pick her brain about her various series and try to get the inside scoop.

And finally, the question we’ve all been waiting for –
You are granted one magical pet. Which do you choose and why?
a) cunning rabbit
b) faithful wolf – While a bird would be great as a spy, I have to go with a wolf. They are smart and loyal and vicious when need be.
c) curious cat
d) wise owl
e) majestic lion
f) watchful raven

Thanks for having me, Kimberly!
