wdtbwsbuttonfinal3Hey Everyone! Another Saturday and another chance to make a friend!

I’m here with fellow blogger and all around reading fanatic Katie who is in the hot seat today! Read on!

winteryurtName: Katie!

Code Name/Alias: Bookyurt (or Byrt, for short)

Haunt: Bookyurt (http://bookyurt.com/)

I read mostly: SF/F/UF/YA/MG/comics, all the good stuff. Oh, and mysteries and the occasional thriller too 🙂

Literary Boyfriend: Hhhmm, I tend to be a shipper more than anything else – but I’ll go with Legolas 🙂

Literary Best friend: Hari (from The Blue Sword)

Literary Arch Nemesis: I don’t think I’ve ever rooted for someone to die more than Voldemort

Besides reading, what are some other favorite hobbies?
There are other hobbies? 😛 Well, I’m a pretty big TV-a-holic, and martial arts nut, not to mention my chronic equine addiction…

How do you take your potato? As FRIES (mmm, fries)

Who are you? Hobbit, Elf or Dwarf? I want to fight like an Elf, eat like a Hobbit, and swear like a Dwarf!

You are fleeing from your arch nemesis. Which mode of transportation do you take?
a) Broomstick
b) Pegasus -Pegasus! (did I not mention the equine addiction?)
c) Spaceship
d) Nothing. I shall wave my hand and turn them into toads!

Team Edward or Team Jacob? (be honest):
Team Bella – because at times I wanted to slap both Edward and Jacob, singly and together. Or at the very least, grab ’em by their Pantene pro-v hair and slam their foreheads together.

I organize my bookshelf by:
a) color
b) size
c) genre
d) what bookshelf? I am a digital only reader
E – Love, Twuu Love (No, seriously, I tend to shelve based on level of adoration)

You are stranded on a desert island. Dr. Moreau, Dr. Jekyll and Dr. Frankenstein each stand in a boat which will get you to safety. Who do you choose to travel with?
Jekyll! After all, Hyde was the monster, Jekyll is just a cuddly evil scientist.

I hide books:
a) in my closet
b) in my car
c) under my bed
d) from my husband/spouse/significant other
e) in the kitchen
f) all of the above
g) – I hide nothing! I have no literary shame! (evil laugh)

You may be granted an interview with your favorite author- living or dead. Who do you pick to have tea with?
Oooh, choices, choices… Let’s see, Julie Andrews and Emma Thompson are both authors, technically, and they would be delightful – but Team Ilona Andrews does make me laugh – but Jane Austen would be so deliciously incisive – and Kipling would have the best stories… But in the end, I think I have to go with Tamora Pierce – I wouldn’t be able to form a coherent sentence, mind, but I could at least gaze silently in adoration…
