wdtbwsbannerpreHi Readers! Today’s topic is: What are your favorite series??

Wow, how I can answer this? It’s really hard because you know, sometimes the series overall is good but there’s one or two that don’t live up to the rest? Or sometimes the whole series is awesome!!

I’m choosing series that I love overall. That I want to read again and again.

1. Harry Potter.
Duh.
I mean, I’m not even going to link to it because if you can’t find or don’t know Harry Potter then we probably shouldn’t be friends. Sorry, but tough love.

2. The Lynburn Legacy (Unspoken, Untold, Unmade) by Sarah Rees Brennan
So rare is it that a trilogy captures my heart so fast, so hard that I cannot think of another book for days and days afterwards. Witty banter, strong female characters, complicated love and magic. I can’t wait till I read this series again.

3. Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor
If I could re-live the way this series made me feel the first time around, I would do that every week for the rest of my life. I fiercy love this book with its demons and angels. Strange creatures and love that extends over lives. I was absorbed in this series, I bought the last book in digital copy (even though I had it in hardcover) because I HAD to bring it with me on a work trip. I could not part with it.

4. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Who doesn’t love Vampires? (put your hands down, crazies!) Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy has one of the best heroine’s around – Rose. She’s smart, she’s funny, loyal and strong. It doesn’t hurt that her older boyfriend is also crazy bad ass. It’s like all the best parts of Buffy and Angel rolled into a new and exciting book series. Devour. Yum.

5. The BlackDagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward
Wrath, Vicious, John Matthew, Xhex and Phury and oh well I can’t go through all of them. 13 books currently and counting, this beast of a series is probably one of the most popular paranormal romance series ever. Easy to see why. Strong male and female characters, great characters and fun writing, there’s no way you can pass up this series. It’s deliciously sinful. Vampires, evil and steamy scenes.

6. Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
I am not a faery person. Seriously. But there’s something very drawing about this series which grew and grew in my heart. The dark themes and shadows, the evil lurking not only in the magical realm but in reality. I love the beginning. I love the ending. I love the covers and that fantastical feeling it makes me feel.

7. All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness
Historical fiction combines with fantasy as an old, wine loving vampire falls in love with a young witch in today’s world. Each book is well thought out and planned perfectly, Harkness loving research and history herself. It comes though on each page, seeping into your soul until you look up and have to remember where and when you are.

8. The Goddess Test series by Aimee Carter

I’ll be honest, I don’t know what intrigues me so much to this series. Is it the retelling of these amazing myths? Of Hades’s quiet heartbreak or the war between the gods and the titans? Who knows and it really doesn’t matter because The Goddess Test series is startlingly addictive. I will be re-reading them again next year. We’re all pawns, even the gods.

9. Unearthly trilogy by Cynthia Hand
I know, I know. Angels, right? (eye roll) But I am so in love with this series it’s silly. There’s wonderful characters, a battle of good versus bad and some nice surprises twisted. This is the angel series to beat for me. This is the one to read if you only read one.

10. Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
Very few books make me lol but this entire series is stellar. I loved School Spirits as well, the spin off and hope Hawkins continues with that. There is so much left to be answered! The best part of Hex Hall series is that you always think you know what’s going to happen… and then you are totally wrong.

Honorable mention:
I have to say I’m totally in love with The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater and The Arcana Chronicles by Kresley Cole. However, these two series aren’t done yet so I didn’t want to put them on the list.

Be sure to check out my friends’ blogs Nite Lite Book Reviews, Books Unbound and the Reader’s Antidote to find out what their fav series are!

What are yours??
