Why, hello there!
And welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you to The Broke and the Bookish for hosting this weekly meme!

This week, I am listing my Top Ten Authors who Deserve More Recognition.

In no particular order:

Marjorie M. Liu
Author of the Dirk & Steele series, Hunter Kiss series and many more

She is one of my favorite paranormal romance authors. I love the Dirk & Steele series, and in fact have read Shadow Touch more than once!
You should check her out!
You can find out more about Marjorie here.

Tiffany Reisz
Author of The Original Sinners series, and more

I think a lot of people shy away from erotica, but if you are adventurous, try Tiffany Reisz. She has become one of my favorite writers, period. I love her stories, dark, twisted and amazingly deep.
You can find out more about Tiffany here.

Y.S. Lee
Author of The Agency series

Her historical YA fiction is some of the best I’ve read. I love her characters, the mystery and the romantic tension she writes between James and Mary. You should really be reading her books.
You can find more about Y.S. here.

Beth Fantaskey
Author of Jessica’s Guide to Dating On The Dark Side, and others

I’ve mentioned Beth a few times on my blog because she wrote one of my favorite books- Jessica’s Guide.
This book was one of the first YA books I read I devoured Twilight, and her book cemented my love of vampires and YA. The best part about her books? The humor. Try it out.
You can find out more about Beth here.

Chuck Wendig
Author of Blackbirds, Mockingbird, and others

I met Chuck at a Los Angeles Times Festival of Books a couple of years back. He was gracious, kind and funny. I took Blackbirds home with me and found an imaginative, creepy, dark and highly entertaining book. His blog is equally awesome, and it’s one of the few author blogs I follow on a regular basis.
Find out more about Chuck here.

Maria V. Snyder
Author of the Poison series, the Insider series, the Healer series and more

My friend A over at Read Now Sleep Later, raved about this author and so I had to give her a try.
Now the Magic series is one of my current favorites.

Amanda Stevens
Author of The Graveyard Queen series and more

I sat down to read the first book in the series, and found myself not getting up until I had read books two and three as well.
Ghosts, love, darkness and mystery, it has it all. Read her now. Her YA series, the Soul Jumper series, will be available in Feb. 2014.
Find out more about Amanda here.

Kiki Hamilton
Author of the Fairy Ring series

I loved the first book in the series and I’m excited to read the other books
You can find more about Kiki here.

Rachel Herron
Author of How to Knit a Love Song and more

How to Knit A Love Song is such a wonderfully fun book, I have gone back to re-read it. The scenes are steamy, the characters likeable and vulnerable, the setting refreshing and oh, did I mention there is yarn? Rachel is a knitter and why, so am I!  That puts this book and her other books in a special place in my heart
Find out more about Rachel here.

Larissa Ione
Author of the Demonica series and more

It’s the first paranormal romance book I bought and it introduced me to a whole new genre.
Ione’s writing is solid and I love her worlds.
If you haven’t read her, you are truly missing out.
You can find out more about Larissa here.

I know some of these authors are more well known in certain circles than others, but I still think they should be even MORE well known! 🙂
If you haven’t read them, then you should. So There!
