Thank you to the awesome Michaela from Will Read For Coffee for nominating me! The Sunshine Blogger Award is a way for bloggers to get to know each other and also get other bloggers to link to their blogs!
The Award Requirements are:
1. Thank the person who gave you the award.
2. Name 10 things about yourself that others may not know.
3. Pass on the award to 10 other bloggers! (Be sure to show the Sunshine Award logo so they can use it too!)
Ten Things You May Not Know About Me.
1. I like to surprise my friends with hand written letters. There’s something special about a handwritten letter!
2. I knit! If you knit or crochet, find me on Ravelry and we’ll be Ravelry friends!
3. I have two bunnies, Carter and Annabel Lee. Annabel Lee is named after my favorite poem by Edgar Allan Poe. Carter is named after Carter Beats the Devil.
4. During my lunch break, I enjoy going to my local library and reading!
5. My husband is Scottish and grew up in England.
6. I have one sister, and she wonders a lot why she is never mentioned on my blog and really wants me to do a Top Ten Tuesday about her. 🙂
7. I play guitar and piano, though not very well.
8. My love of teas is ridiculous. I have a wide variety of teas in my home and in the office.
9. I am a very nervous flyer.
10. I have no self control when it comes to these items: books, ice cream, sweet tea, Blizzards, book fairs, brunch, bloody marys.
Thanks for reading!

Again, a huge thanks to Michaela for nominating me! I’m so very touched I was one of your ten!!
I absolutely adore teas as well! My friend thought I was bonkers for spending so much money once on just a single tin of it (which I still have some left of years later)
oh i love teas!!! 🙂
I just bought some teas from David’s Teas. I see a new addiction coming on. And I love getting letters from you. I was going to write you one while you were gone but didn’t have time. Will have to send it soon though.
LOVE LOVE LOVE David’s Teas!
handwritten letters are the best! I recently got several postcards while my friend was in England on business for a few months and it was so much fun getting them! I need to make more of an effort to write to my friends abroad – and at home! 😀 You’re right, there is something so special about getting some personal mail like that.
Thanks so much for nominating me, I’m so honored!! I don’t know if I’ll require others to pass it on because I don’t want to obligate people but I’ll definitely write a post about my top ten!
For some reason I’ve never been too fond of teas.. at least not hot teas. I have a special love for Snapple Peach Iced Tea – does that count? 😀
I love you have a cat name Annabel Lee! We sang a song when I was in middle school choir that was based on the poem Annabel Lee – it was so beautiful and haunting. I keep on trying to find the exact version/rendition of the song but I can’t find it anywhere thus far – there are so many different songs based on that poem, it’s incredible.
I bought a piano keyboard and actually took a class in college for one semester – but I learned nothing! The teacher loved to listen to himself play and even though there were only 3 of us in his class, he just mostly played himself and the pieces he gave us didn’t fit our various levels of education. I had zero education up to that point (on the piano, I had learned to play the clarinet in middle school so I DID know musical notes, just not their placements ON the piano) and I was so bummed, I really wanted to learn. I still have the keyboard since I bought it for myself so hopefully at some point I can teach myself. At least the teacher gave me an A for the class LOL
April! So glad you stopped by. I hope you start writing handwritten letters. It’s a dying art!
Also, I really love your blog so I’m really happy you’ll do a post on your ten things. Annabel Lee was one of my favorite poems growing up, so it’s totally fitting I have a pet named that!
You should try learning piano again. I have to admit, that finding a good piano teacher is more than half the battle. A bad one, as it seems you know, will just let you down!
Thanks for stopping by!
Oo hey there! I was so busy this week that I missed this. Thank you so much! Also… sweeeeeeetttt teeeeaaaa… I know what I will be having this weekend.
