meme_atozsurveyHave I ever mentioned I love lists? So I jumped on this chance to write this A-Z list about me and my love of books! Jaime over at The Pertetual Page Turner created this list and I’ve seen it on This Is A Story About Books and Novel Sounds too!  I love all their blogs and couldn’t resist posting my own.

This is what is going on right now for me. Thanks for reading and send me your link to your list so I can read your answers!

Author You’ve Read the Most Books From: Maggie Steifvater. There’s more but she’s my favorite at the moment. (And I’ve read all of her books.)

Best Sequel Ever: Prodigy by Marie Lu- I might love it more than I did the first

Currently Reading: The Infinite Moment of Us by Lauren Myracle

Drink of Choice While Reading: Black tea with milk and sugar

E-book or Physical Book: Physical books! But I like e-books too.

Fictional Character You Actually Probably Would Have Dated in High School: Will from Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance: Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione (and so began my discovery of paranormal romance books)

Hidden Gem Books: Jessica’s Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantasky(YA), My name Is Memory by Ann Brashares (Adult), The Siren by Tiffany Reisz (Erotica), Broken by Megan Hart (Erotica)

Important Moment in Your Reading Life: I remember getting my first library card. I still have it somewhere. My name was handwritten, on a sticker, and slipped into a thin plastic sleeve. I don’t even know if there was a barcode.

Just Finished: Not A Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnis

Kinds of Book You Won’t Read: Political

Longest Book You’ve Read: Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin

Major Book Hangover Because of: Hmm. Honestly, I think I am still scarred from American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. I will never read that book again, but it was very good. But still <shivers>. I couldn’t sleep for nights after that. Really.

Number of Bookcases You Own: Three- but looking for more!

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times: Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen

Preferred Place To Read: Outside, in the shade, on a swing or blanket.

Quote that Inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read: Love is the ultimate outlaw. It just won’t adhere to any rules. The most any of us can do is to sign on as its accomplice. Instead of vowing to honor and obey, maybe we should swear to aid and abet. That would mean that security is out of the question. The words “make” and “stay” become inappropriate. My love for you has no strings attached. I love you for free- Still Life With Woodpecker by Tom Robbins

Reading Regret: I wish I had more time to read. And that I read more classics. (Finally read Jane Eyre this year, and Wuthering Heights last year. Slow progress)

Series You’ve Started and Need to Finish: Matched by Ally Condie, Strange Angels by Lili St. Crow, The Fairie Ring by Kiki Hamilton, oh the list goes on!

Three of Your All Time Favorite Books: It’s hard to narrow it down to 3! The Mermaids Singing by Lisa Carey, Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl, The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood

Unapologetic Fangirl for: Twilight. Yes. I said it. There.

Worst Bookish Habit: Buying more than I can read.

X Marks the Spot- Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book: It happens to be The Unbecoming of Mara Dwyer

Your Latest Book Purchase: Visitation Street by Ivy Pochoda

ZZZZ-snatcher book (book that kept you up WAY late): Me Before You by JoJo Moyes. I couldn’t stop listening to my audiobook, or stop crying.
