Sometimes I get into these moods where I feel like everything is overwhelming me. Work has been challenging and it’s easy to fall behind. Especially with the review books and the, what we like to warmly refer to as “NetGalley Guilt”, some days I feel like there is just too much.
What is the solution?
Well, this week, my solution was to go through some books and host a very quick giveaway!

I love to sit outside in the backyard and watch my little brother play in the backyard or watch whatever sport is on, on the t.v.
My favorite thing to do to unwind would probably be to read.. I get off work late at night and can’t go to bed so I read a little bit before going to bed.. Otherwise I would be tossing and turning for a couple hours.. thanks for the giveaway!!!
I love to go to the park and swing till my hearts content and then take long hot shower.

My favorite thing to do to unwind is probably to either get out some puzzle books (though I’m absolutely terrible at them so this can backfire and cause more stress!!) and turn the world off when possible or grab a cup of coffee, a good or bad book (hey, I’ll read anything once!) some nice chocolate or other such gloriously munchies (it doesn’t count as bad for you and calories are non-existent if you are unwinding and taking time out), turn off the phones for a bit, lock the doors, and just pretend time doesn’t exist for just a little while.

To unwind, I’d just read a book or just practicing the viola.
To totally unwind, I take a nap. If I need a short break, I will read.

Usually I read a book to unwind but sometimes I can’t get my mind to settle down enough to concentrate. That is usually when I put on my earphones and listen to a great audiobook and do some “mindless” knitting where I can just enjoy the clicking of the needles without being mindful of stitch markers and patterns. Anything garter stitched is good for this. When it’s a really bad day, the knitting is usually accompanied with a big glass of Pinot Noir!
Drinking tea while listening to classical music usually does the trick.
I like listening to loud music and soaking in the notes.
I listen to music, or watch an episode of a tv show I missed, or read. 😀
May favorite thing to do to unwind is to read or surf the internet.

Usually, I read to unwind, but as the weather begins to get warmer, I can sit in the sun and begin to dream about the pool. Then, I’ll have the actuality of the pool for daytime winding down.

I love to sit with my hubby while he play video games and I read. I have watched him play through a lot of really good games without having to focus on all the tedious parts lol. Plus I get to snuggle on the couch the the pups and kitties :). Thanks for the giveaway!!!
