Best Movie Adaptations

Top Ten Most Intimidating Books
Some are because of size, some are content. Some are subject matter (I know I’m going to be scared during The Shining). Some are because I’ve been looking forward to reading it for so long, I hope it lives up my expectations! (Jane Eyre) And one is because I’ve been told I should read it, even though I don’t think I’ll like it (I am not a Hemmingway fan.)
Here they are, in no particular order.

I love lists. I may be a list maniac.
It’s why I still have a physical planner I write in.
No digital planners for me!
Top Ten Books I’ve Read So Far in 2013
1. Me Before You
By far the best book I have read all year
Balling, people. Balling like a little baby in the middle of the night.
2. Lover At Last
If you have been waiting for these two characters to get together, then your wait is over.
And the Ward does not disappoint.
The best sequel I have read – I may even say that I like it more than Legend, Book One.
4. Seduced In The Dark
The sequel to Captive in the Dark.
Not for the faint of heart.
I read it twice.
Poppy and Win’s story. At last.
Beautiful, uncomfortable, amazing.
7. The Taker
Adult paranormal, dark, romance, historical and an edge of crazy
8. Love Water Memory
The writing is solid and the depth and struggles the characters go through are so real.
9. Siege & Storm
A strong sequel that makes me think I never left Bardugo’s world or her characters.
10. Eleanore & Park
A beautifully written coming of age story.
Honorable mention: Touch & Go
A fun, twisty thriller that had me surprised many times.
