RIP VIII Wrap up post!

RIP8main300Hello fellow RIP readers! Welcome to my wrap up post! Thanks again to Stainless Steel Droppings for hosting this awesome challenge!

How did you do?

It’s been kinda strange to read anything dark and creepy lately as the last two months in Southern California have been pretty warm and incredibly sunny. While last week showed a bit of mist and clouds in the morning, it still didn’t feel like Autumn and I had a hard time getting into the Halloween mood. Usually that doesn’t happen for me, but this year was a little strange. Finally this week, the weather turned cloudy and misty! I was happy to sit in cafes this week and read for my lunch break. And after work. And before bed…

Anyway, I did pretty well considering at the moment, I have the attention span of a one of my bunnies. Yes, I had two months and I thought I would read more. But you know, life got in the way. And so did sunny summer weather. Continue Reading →

Better Late than Never Challenge! October Wrap Up

betterlatethannever2_rnslOctober is over! And I am sad to see it go. I love Halloween, but Thanksgiving is coming up soon and with it, days off!

Thuy at Nite Lite Book Reviews, Nicole at The Reader’s Antidote and I are still going strong with our challenge! How have you been doing? I got a lot of reading done this month, but not all of it were for this challenge. Have you been reading a lot of older ARCs? If not, why? Do you feel like there’s too much pressure to read something new? Or are you just more interested in new stuff?

Sign ups are still open below. Feel free to join us! We could all use a little motivation.

Better Late Than Never Challenge! (October – December 2013)

BetterLateThanNever-button2I love the New Year and it’s not for the parties, drinks or streamers. No. The reason I love New Years is for the hope. The opportunity that although the past year may not have been wonderful, this coming year may be better. It’s filled with resolutions, goals and promises of improving oneself.

That said, one thing I would love to improve is my crazy book collection and my ARC guilt. I have a lot of older ARCs laying around that I would love to get through.

So Thuy at Nite Lite Book Reviews, Nicole at The Reader’s Antidote and I are hosting a challenge.
