Review:
Camden Pike is devasted when his beautiful girlfriend is killed in an auto accident, with him in the car. But one night, when Cam visits the scene of the accident, he stumbles upon Nina, a girl who claims to be from a parallel world where Viv is alive. Cam can’t help but want to see Viv again and searches for her. But this new world, while somewhat like his reality, is different. This Viv is different. Very different. And while he doesn’t know this Nina girl, he finds himself drawn to her. She is the only one who can answer his questions. If he asks the right ones in time.
I was really excited to get Through To You. Besides the cover being captivating, the story line sounded cool. And while the plot may have been a little predictable, going through the motions that you think it would – Who really is Viv? And why does she hate Nina so much? – the story still spun a captivating web that I lost myself in for hours.
My favorite part of the book is Cam’s voice. He is a clear and strong character, tortured and guilty, struggling with loss and then his feelings towards this new Viv. I liked how stubborn he was, making wrong choices and figuring everything out. Viv and Cam’s complex feelings towards their counterparts in the different dimensions was very well done. I like how Cam reacted to his other life, and how Viv’s resentment and jealously of herself pushes her farther and farther away from the Viv Cam knows from his world.
Hi Jeremy. I am using WordPress. It’s a custom design by a designer I hired, Anna Marie Moore. Hope that helps.
