Review:

Ben and Maggie are doomed to meet over and over again, and to die, over and over again. That’s because they’re stuck in this loop, destined to repeat the same cycle, only allowed to make small changes along the way. But small changes can add up to big ones and Ben and Maggie defy fate. They want to live. They want to break free from the loop. Even if that means being without the other.

I enjoyed this book. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was the perfect little read for me. Coming in at slightly over 200 pages, Ben and Maggie’s story is fast and fierce. They’ve been on the ride so many times. Maggie can only remember details from the last few times she’s looped and Ben discovers he can change the loop in small ways. Armed with this, they think they’ve figured out a way to break free.

I liked the layout of the book. We do see some loops and each are interesting. They add texture and a sense of deja vu to the story. You feel like Maggie and Ben. You feel like you’re there with them. And only by paying close attention do you realize you’re on another loop!

While I can appreciate the general attraction these two have for each other, I didn’t buy the overwhelming love between them. They’re ok characters. This is really a plot driven book.
