Review:

We continue on Connie Chatterley’s adventure. To choose between her loving yet absent boyfriend Cliff or her hot as hell hunk Mellors, Connie’s guilt nags on her.
But that doesn’t stop her from resisting Mellors’s pull to her.

The story moves along slowly in this second installment.
Again, I don’t feel a great interest in Connie or Mellors as people. They’re more like sexual beings who have very little back story. And the history that is given doesn’t seem to  but the sex scenes are hot enough that I forget about it! 

Cliff pushes a little bit more center stage in this story, showing what a strange love triangle there is. Cliff isn’t abusive, or hurtful or evil. It’s easy to see how Connie is having a hard time giving up either men. Though still, Cliff is more of a human being than Mellors at this point. You know, human being vs. man candy.

So when Cliff invites Mellors to his and Connie’s home, to help them train and get in better shape, Connie is thrown for a loop when Mellors accepts!
Between guilt and lust, Connie isn’t sure where to go from here.

While not a lot happens in the book, it’s still a fun, sexy story that kept me wanting to read more. And the cliffhanger ending- well, that just propelled me into reading book three!
