fallingforbooksreadathonThank you to The Reader’s Antidote who is hosting this Read A Thon!

It’s Thanksgiving in the US and that means days of turkey, stuffing and pie! It also means giving thanks and appreciating the good things. I’m happy to be participating in this Read A Thon because one of the things I’m very grateful for has to do with books. Yes, I’m grateful for books. But I’m also grateful for what they bring.

They bring me friends. Book reading friends. Blogging friends. Author friends. Publisher friends. They bring me bookish adventures like signings and travel and hanging out by the pool at ALA. Reading takes you to another world with monsters and true love and adventures and pirates.

And so I will be thinking of all of that as well as I participate in this Read A Thon.

I don’t know how much time I will have but I’m choosing from these awesome books!
