Hi Friends! How are you? This is me and my bunny Carter, checking in and wishing you a happy Sunday! I have a surprise for you!
There are two things I did this weekend, mostly. One was watch the Olympics. The other was go to TWO amazing book signings in Los Angeles.
Yesterday, at Central Library, I was lucky to see Margaret Stohl, Victoria Schwab, Gretchen McNeil, Anna Carey and Melissa de la Cruz!
And the best part? I got to hang out with friends Nicole, Alethea, Thuy and Laura! I also dragged Hubby too! I was really excited to meet Victoria Schwab because I had never met her before. And I won Eve by Anna Carey who graciously signed it for me. Victoria mentioned that she loves her secondary characters and that she wished they got more love on panels. I agree Victoria! Some of my favorite characters are the side kicks and best friends!
THEN
Sunday, at Mysterious Galaxy in Redondo Beach, I got to see Marie Lu, Margaret Stohl again and Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner!
Marie signed my Champion hardcover (YAY!) and Amie and Meagan signed my These Broken Stars. I loved Champion so if you haven’t finished the trilogy yet, what are you waiting for? Go read it now!!
Turns out Amie and Meagan each wrote one of the characters in These Broken Stars. When asked about writing together, they mentioned that they used to be roommates and while one is an outliner and the other is a pantser (flying by the seat of your pants sans outline), they work really well together.
Onto the Giveaways!
You could win one of two fab prizes!! Fill out the rafflecopters below.

I have not watched any of the Olympics yet but I do plan to soon
I am watching the Olympics as I type this! The slope style snowboarding event is crazy.
I also forgot to mention:
It is soooo cool that you got to meet so many authors! I am quite jealous. 🙂 I live in Central PA and no one comes here. 🙁
I’ve watched a few of the events, but not a lot! 🙂
I haven’t watched any yet, but I probably will watch some.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Nope. I don’t plan on it either.
I’ve watched some but can’t seem to get all that interested.
Yes; my daughter and I love watching the Olympics. I’m catching as many events as I can. I’m even up at 4 a.m. watching curling this morning.
Sad I could not go Sunday but I am glad that you made it. Sounds like both events were fantastic.
I love watching the Olympics especially the ice skating!
I actually don’t watch the Olympics, but I do hear about everything from my family!
What an awesome signing! Congratz on getting to meet all those fab authors – most of who I haven’t gotten a chance to read their books yet – but they’re all on my wish list!
Onto the question – YES I LOVE the Olympics, I’m a n Olympics fanatic! Speed skating is probably my very favorite sport to watch, I’m just bummed Apolo Anton Ohno isn’t playing for the Americans this year.. he’s such an excellent skater and he’s cute.. mwuahah but at least he’s commentating for us! So we get to see him a hit 😀
I really want to, but this week my teachers have decided to swamp me with homework and tests/quizzes, so I have no time do anything but homework! I love watching the Olympics though, hopefully I will have time next week!
No I haven’t watched any of the Olympics. It’s not really my thing.
I’ve been watching it on and off
No I haven’t. I usually don’t watch them!
I haven’t had much time yet, but have caught it here and there. I watched the opening ceremony.
I am not watching the Olympics. It usually stresses me out when I do so.
